Go make art!  Don't worry about mistakes, that's how we learn....have fun with it!  Be creative and enjoy the process!

Why study art?

Art is for everyone, not just a talented few!  Through artistic expression, you can experience the excitement, and gratification that comes with creative accomplishment.  Creative thinking and problem solving are a huge part of the art process.  These are skills that are applicable in all subject areas.  Making art encourages imaginative thinking, self-expression, observational skills, and perseverance!

You can learn art!

Art is a skill you can learn!  It's just like learning a sport or playing a musical instrument.  First you learn the basics and techniques, then you PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!   Be patient with yourself, try, and try again.  Practice is the key to success!
